How We Got Here
A Small Crew That Grew by Word of Mouth
J&J started with a mower, a trailer and a handful of yards in the east suburbs. Everything after that came from neighbors talking.
Jordan started cutting lawns around Pittsburgh with one trailer and a short list of customers. There was no plan to become a big company, just a plan to do the work properly and answer the phone. That turned out to be rare enough that the list kept growing without any advertising behind it.
Today it is a four-person crew handling weekly maintenance, mulch and bed work, seasonal cleanups, planting projects and holiday lighting across Allegheny County. We have kept it small on purpose, because the moment you hand a property to a stranger, the standard slips.

We do not subcontract and we do not rotate crews between routes. The people who walk your property when we quote it are the people who show up to do the work, which means nobody has to relearn where your sprinkler heads are or which side of the bed the dog gate opens onto.
Customers mention manners in their reviews more than they mention grass, and we take that seriously. Be on time, be polite, explain what we are doing and why, clean up completely. It is a short list and it covers most of what makes a company worth keeping.
